Every year the Magi appear at the traditional Procession that carries them through the streets of the city. Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar are accompanied by carriages and bands. Each year, as the procession makes its way through the streets, the marchers throw a million and a half sweets to the hundreds of thousands of people attending. Then comes the apotheosis: the entrance of the Kings. This event is excitedly applauded by all the children gathered there while candies and sweets are distributed and toys and gifts are given.
