SHOPPING IN MALAGA

Centro ComercialMalaga is a great city to shop in. You will find just about everything, from your staple clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, gift articles, etc., to the most sublime in crafted products, antiques and works of art.

Behind the shop windows that look out onto the street, the range is endless: designers’ shops with top brand name displays that are sometimes almost contemporary works of art and demonstrate that window dressing also has its trends, to Baroque settings full of a variety of the most traditional articles and objects. In fact, the shop windows alone constitute an attraction.

In our city you can visit some of its shopping centres and department stores where you will find a very comprehensive and wide variety of products. They are true leisure centres, with their easy parking and the large number of establishments concentrated in one place, as well as the fact that there are usually a good range of other interesting establishments nearby.

Another shopping option is to be found in the Historical Quarter. Parking is not a problem: there are municipal car parks as well as street parking areas, and you will be able to combine your shopping trip with a visit to this historical area, with its many pedestrian thoroughfares, making your shopping tour all the more enjoyable. It is the city’s largest commercial area, with over a thousand establishments that will vie for your attention with the incomparable monumental and museum attractions. The whole area forms a semi-circle that extends out from its central axis at Calle Larios to the banks of the River Guadalmedina and to calles Carretería, Álamos and Alcazabilla.
